Coming soon: your driveway is worth money on game nights.

ParkAid is launching soon in Edmonton. When we open, fans and visitors will pay premium prices for parking near Rogers Place — and owners of driveways, garages, and stalls nearby will earn every time the city fills up. You'll set the price, and you'll approve every booking.

ParkAid is coming soon — it hasn't launched yet. The spots shown on the site right now are sample spots while we line up our founding hosts. Edmonton hosts are joining, and hosts near Rogers Place and downtown will be first in when we open.

How hosting will work

1

List your spot

When ParkAid opens, you'll add a few photos, set your price, and choose when your spot is available. Listing will be free and take a few minutes.

2

Approve bookings

Every booking request will come to you first. Nothing gets booked until you say yes — you'll always be in control of who parks at your place.

3

Get paid

You'll get paid for every booking you approve. Event nights, game days, and monthly commuters will all add up.

Who should host?

When ParkAid launches, spots near the action will earn first — but any Edmonton driveway, garage, or stall that sits empty could earn. The best first spots will be near:

Rogers Place & downtown

Game nights and concerts fill the arena — and the streets around it. When ParkAid launches, driveways and stalls nearby will be the first spots drivers look for.

Royal Alex & hospital district

Staff, patients, and visitors circle for parking every single day. A spare stall here could earn steadily, not just on event nights.

U of A & NAIT

Students and staff need reliable parking all semester long — monthly renters will mean predictable income.

Whyte Ave

One of Edmonton's busiest strips. If your spot sits empty while the avenue fills up, it could be earning instead.

One honest rule: only list a spot that's yours to rent out — your own driveway, garage, or a stall you hold the rights to.

Why hosts will win

  • Earn on every game night. Hosts near the arena will earn each time Rogers Place fills up — plus steady demand from monthly commuters.
  • You're in control. Your price, your hours, your approval on every booking.
  • Your spot, working. The driveway or stall you already own will start paying for itself.

Why drivers will love it

  • Safer than the parkade. Private driveways and stalls in real neighbourhoods — not a dark, dingy downtown parkade.
  • Park where you're going. Real spots near the arena, hospitals, campuses, and Whyte Ave.
  • Booked in advance. No circling the block — the spot will be waiting when you arrive.

Host questions

What will I be able to list?

A driveway, a garage, a condo stall, or a spot in a private lot — any parking space that's yours to rent out. If it's sitting empty some of the time, you'll be able to list it when we launch.

Will I approve who books?

Yes — every time. Booking requests will come to you first, and nothing will be confirmed until you approve it. You'll also set the price and the hours your spot is available.

What will it cost?

Listing will be free. When a booking happens, ParkAid keeps a 14% service fee and the rest is yours — you'll only pay when you earn.

When can drivers start booking my spot?

ParkAid hasn't launched yet — we're getting everything ready for Edmonton first. Hosts near Rogers Place and downtown will be first in when bookings open. There's no sign-up form yet; for now, preview how it will work and watch this page for the launch announcement.
